This is the gravity-flow water filter we have used since 1998 on family campouts. After we pull into a camp site, one of the first items on our agenda is to bring water out of a nearby stream to fill the top container with water. This unit, with four ceramic candle filters, supplied all 17 of us with water for drinking and cooking when we went camping next to a stream in the mountains with our kids and grandkids.
