This is the All-Metal Drive (part number 048945) that can be used for both Cookie Paddles and Whisks.
Note: The "whisk-drive" that comes with the new Universal PLUS mixer is not all-metal and is used only with whisks (not with cookie paddles).

Which is the right mixing tool?
--- Wire whips are for whipping and mixing pourable liquids, soft liquids, and LIGHT cake batters.
--- "COOKIE PADDLES" (must use this 048945 all-metal drive) are for all but the stiffest cookie dough (NOT for cookies with raisins, nuts, oatmeal, etc.)
--- The Dough Hook is for all stiff stirring such as bread dough, and including cookies with raisins, nuts, oatmeal, etc.
